About EnhanceFitness Classes

EnhanceFitness is a 1-hour physical activity class presented 3-times weekly by a certified instructor leading low-impact aerobics, strength training, balance and flexibility movements.

About Healthy Living Courses

  • The course is designed to help people who have a chronic disease or condition gain self-confidence in their ability to control their symptoms & learn how their health conditions affect their lives.
  • Small-group courses are generally 6 weeks long, meeting once a week for 2.5 hours and are lead by lay leaders living with chronic conditions.
  • The course teaches management skills through interaction, goal setting and action planning.
  • Healthy Living courses are taught by trained peer leaders who are living with chronic conditions. Peer leaders are trained by Master Trainers and the trainings are held locally. Master Trainers are trained by T-Trainers from Stanford University locally or in California.
